I became a physical therapist because I’m fascinated by how the body works, and even more by what happens when it stops working the way it should. Early in my career I kept meeting patients who had done everything right. They did the exercises, saw the specialists, and tried the stretches, and they were still stuck. Those patients taught me that pain is rarely as simple as it looks. They sent me looking for better answers.

That search led me to Fascial Counterstrain, which is now the core of my practice. Along the way I also trained extensively in craniosacral therapy, osteopathic manual medicine through Michigan State University, visceral work through the Barral Institute, myofascial release, dry needling, and functional movement through the Gray Institute. Each one gave me a different way to understand the body. Together they let me look at the whole picture instead of just the place that hurts.

I work with a lot of people who feel like they’ve run out of options. That includes recurring neck and back pain, sciatica, headaches and migraines, TMJ, concussion and whiplash, hypermobility, and chronic pain.

I opened Conway Physical Therapy so I could practice the way I believe care should feel. It’s one-on-one, with time to actually listen, and it treats you as a partner in figuring out what’s going on.
